Eircom reports 'major issue' on mobile & landline services

Eircom has confirmed that there is a "major issue" affecting its mobile and some landline services.

Customers with ISDN lines have been mostly affected.

Calls from eMobile or the Meteor network to 1890 260 260, Broadband Tech Support or to 1800 numbers are not being connected.

The issue has also hit calls to Eircom’s customer care centres.

Goldfish has rerouted outbound traffic via other carriers but inbound calls to some numbers may experience problems.



UPDATE: Eircom have pushed out their ETR to 18:00

UPDATE: Eircom have advised that the incident on their core telephony network which impacted services has been resolved and remains stable.
This issue was resolved at approximately 18:00 and a full investigation is on-going to identify the root cause of the issue and to ensure there is no recurrence.
